Review on Online Educational Games

Throughout my years as a student, each year was different, but technology then wasn’t how it is now. We didn’t have the opportunity to use online games. the computer was mainly used for learning how to type and know your way around the it. because technology is more advanced than it was back then, educators are finding it more useful and are seeing encouraging results.   “Video games in the classroom provide teachers, administrators and parents with a plethora of data to give assessments on students’ performances that is invaluable,” (Bidwell, 2013). I can agree on behalf of a parent, but not as a teacher just yet. I’ve downloaded an app that records my sons scores as he progresses throughout the games he played and learned from.   Now that he is attending school, he has used some of what he learned and applied it to is school and homework. As a mother I’ve been using online educational games at home to help boost my children’s reading and math comprehension.  ...
